Its a beautiful mornin'!

Hello everybody!!  For years I have considered creating a cupcake blog, and alas, I finally have the time.  I am turning lemons into lemonade here, as I have heaps of additonal leisure time on my hands.  What to do? Taste, create, and critique cupcakes! I started baking cupcakes four years ago, and I, unlike other fad cupakers, am still in love with these pint-sized treats.
Last Friday I convinced my wonderful friends to try out Crumbs in Clarendon, VA.  This is a chain cupcakery, and I was not expecting deliciousness.  The frostings were very sweet, so I would advise tart flavors, to counteract the sweetness.  I tasted Cherry Cobbler, Almond Joy, Strawberry Sprinkles, and Vanilla Coconut.  Cherry Cobbler was definitely my fave.
